Company Profile
On April 7th, 1883, fifty-one men gathered at the Turtle Lake School house to organize a company that would provide the settlers with fire insurance for their property. Sverdrup Mutual Insurance Company has been serving the lakes area for the past 125 years. We are a member of the Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies (MAFMIC) and the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies(NAMIC). We presently market our products through approximately 30 Independent Insurance Agents serving the local area.
By being a mutual insurance company, Sverdrup Mutual Insurance Company has the opportunity to offer products that are flexible and designed to meet the specific needs of the customer while at the same time being competitively priced.
